About Chris Ideson
Over the course of the past decade, Chris Ideson has enjoyed an outstanding
level of success in restaurant management. Currently, Chris Ideson works with
Restaurants Unlimited, a company that is comprised of 46, where he oversees 21
of their restaurants throughout California, Alaska, and the Pacific Northwest.
These include well known establishments such as the Newport Seafood Grill,
Portland City Grill, Henry's Tavern, and Manzana, among others. Chris Ideson
joined the company in 2007 as a Brand Leader. In 2010, he was promoted to
Regional Operations Director. The following year, he was appointed to his
current position of Senior Regional Operations Director. This makes him
responsible for developing and communicating his region's overall operational
strategy. He also handles training, budgeting, sales forecasting, new product
marketing, and a variety of other tasks. Due to his high level of performance,
Mr. Ideson has been named Director of the Year for two consecutive years.
Prior to joining Restaurants Unlimited, Chris Ideson spent six years as
a District Manager for Pacific Coast Restaurants. He launched his career in 1996
as a General Manager for Hillstone Restaurants, where he broke the profitability
record in 2001.
Before starting his career, Chris Ideson earned his
Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, where he studied hospitality
and tourism. He went on to complete his Master of Arts in Organizational
Leadership at Gonzaga University.
In his spare time, Chris Ideson enjoys
fishing, playing golf, and maintaining his physical fitness by exercising. Out
of his dedication to providing support to people in need, Mr. Ideson
participates in the Portland Rescue Mission to which he provides a meal every
third Wednesday of the month through Stanford's Restaurant & Bar, a brand of
Restaurants Unlimited. He also donates to the KOIN Channel 6 toy drive for needy
families.
